Went To Beer Camp, Came Home With A Baby...

Once upon a time, five of the Northwest and Rocky Mountain's best craft breweries went to Sierra Nevada Beer Camp. Good-times were had, beer was brewed, things got weird and a baby was made.

Melvin is proud to introduce Moxee Moron an Imperial Session IPA collaboratively brewed by the squad of Melvin, Bale Breaker, Barley Brown's, Black Raven, Odell and, of course, Sierra Nevada. Moxee Moron adopts its name from Moxee, WA- a town located in the center of the universe, the Yakima Valley, a hop growing epicenter. Hops are the front runner in this Imperial Session IPA and deliver aromas of citrus, berry and bright tropical fruit.

Want to drink Moxee Moron and party with Melvin?

Of course you do! Seattle, Join us and a laundry-list of other breweries in Lake Union Park June 11th for a special Beer Camp Across America Moxee-Moron celebration. The party will include plenty of beer, music and fun. For tickets and details, check out the Beer Camp Across America's website .

After the Beer Camp Party, we will be hosting a 3-Way IPA launch party at the Brouwer’s Cafe featuring The Brass Monkeys, a Beastie Boys cover band. The 3-Way IPA was brewed in collaboration with our friends at Fort George and Barley Browns.  3-Way IPA is an unfiltered beer, pale in appearance, superbly laced, combining a balanced juicy body layered with aromatics from every citrus fruit you can imagine. In addition to the 3-Way IPA, an assortment of taps from Fort George, Barley Brown’s, and Melvin Brewing will be flowing. Party starts at 5PM and goes until 10PM.

Jackson, join Melvin at our home Thai Me Up on Friday, May 27 for a Beer Camp Across America Tap Takeover. Here you can try Moxee Moron, other Beer Camp Across America collaboration beers and a few special beers from Odell.  Party starts at 6PM.

I can't make it to Seattle or Jackson, but I want to drink Moxee-Moron...

Shit, that sucks. Sometimes life just gets in the way of fun. Well, when you've exhausted all schemes to get to Jackson May 27 or Seattle June 11 then you can head to your local liquor store and ask for a Sierra Nevada Beer Camp 12-pack. Tell them a guy named Melvin sent you.
